About Alexander
I am an artist and writer, having honed my various crafts for many years. I am perpetually interested in exploring what it means to exist, and to live, and I creatively work to find ways in which I can express the reality of that. I am the author of five novels. And one book of poetry, along with many chapbooks of poetry, too.
I understand that finding one's voice takes time. And I fully believe that all of this is a work in progress.
I'm happy to engage creatively and through tutoring to see what a student may see of themselves, or the world, and find ways in which that can be expressed.
I believe that writing can be a wonderful way and tool for better understanding one's self, as well as perhaps making connections more broadly, or with others.

Open to both high school students and adults.
I will provide critical feedback and encouragement through dialogue, using communication and listening to help foster what may inspire the student, hoping to provide further connection to a student's unique perspective.
I am able to pace things slowly, or quickly.
I am particularly thrilled to read writing examples and works from students and explore what exists on the page. Interested in building out creative writing skills or poetry.
Open to questions about technique, as well as theory, and what it might mean to express one's self through writing.
