Paula helped me develop all the important base concepts that artists grow upon, from anatomy to light to scale and more. Her private lessons helped me build the eye for drawing that I have now and we still remain close friends even long after our private lessons in Connecticut ended when she moved out of state. She also introduced me to many different media forms, from oil to watercolor to charcoal, allowing me to experiment with different kinds of art and find my strengths and weaknesses. Because of her teaching, which was always constructive and kind (and most importantly relaxed and fun!) I am still very proud of my artistic abilities today, even years later. She has an incredible range of experiences to teach from and you will learn more than you could imagine if you chose her as a teacher.

Paula is conscientious, punctual, respectful and flexible. She genuinely cares about her students' progress and encourages them to take control of their individual learning experiences.
