About Martha
I have done some tutoring before but with French and Spanish. At my high school, I took up to level 2 in both. If either of those are your native languages, I will be able to translate things back to you as best as I can, I am not fluent but I know the basics. I got good grades in my English and writing classes. I have great grammar and want to be a professional writer. I want to help you be great too! I'm going to college in the fall to obtain a certificate in communication (writing emphasis) and plan on attending more school after that to obtain a degree in journalism.

I base my classes on skill level, I don't want any of my students to feel stressed out. We take things at your pace and make sure you have a good understanding before moving on to the next topic. I use Google Drive for teaching. I don't believe in homework for my students but I will have optional assignments if anyone wants to do extra work to strengthen their understanding on topics they're learning. The only mandatory assignment will be a google form I will send you. The form will help me understand what your skill level is, and what your goals are so how I can help you achieve them.

Details
My rates will not vary based on skill level. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, I am only able to offer webcam classes at this time. The requirements for my lessons will be a Skype account as well as a Google Drive account to access my resources page (if wanted). I charge a $5 fee for cancelled lessons unless they are due to internet connectivity problems or an emergency (medical, fire, etc.), in which the fee will be waived.
