About Louisa
Hello, my name is Louisa! I am currently on a gap year and I will be studying Medicine at King's College London this September. I have obtained my A-Levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry at Parmiter's School last year, where I achieved A*A*A.
At GCSE, I achieved five 9s, two 8s, two 7s and one B (including 9 in Maths, 9 in Chemistry and 8 in Biology).
I am a very friendly, patient and enthusiastic person; and I am eager to help my students reach their potential and goals. I particularly help out in Maths, Biology and Chemistry, as they are subjects that I am passionate about.
As I studied for my A-Levels at sixth-form, I tutored Maths to Year 7 and 8 students. Throughout the lockdowns that we've had, I have been tutoring students from various year groups.
I have experience working with children at a local church where I help organize events and also working with children and young people with learning disabilities at Watford Mencap.

My focus lies on the goals of the students and on helping students understand how to answer exam questions. I will help explain and teach subjects and topics properly based on the syllabus. I will also help assess areas where students particularly struggle with, and find ways to improve.

Perfect! My daughter enjoyed her Biology lessons with Louisa. It was to help her get back on track after lockdown and worked out very nicely. Louisa was a very helpful tutor and very easy to communicate with.
Perfect! Louisa from the outset was very professional and kind. When delivering the lesson she was patient and clear, and used tools to make the lesson engaging for my son who enjoyed the lesson. Thank you.
