Nat5 Maths quickly became one of my favourite classes in school when spending it with Laura. I highly enjoyed the subject, and Laura was always ready to jump in and help me whenever I found myself struggling with a topic. And with this help, I was able to go into the exam and come out with confidence and received an A by the end of the year. However by the time I made it to higher maths I found myself greatly struggling and falling behind. We did not have a proper teacher in school to teach us the work properly, which was a big issue for me. But when Laura offered to start weekly tutoring sessions on Sundays, I found myself slowly getting back on track. Laura was a great tutor. She would always come to the session with topics prepared to go through, and she never made me feel bad for not understanding certain questions and was always happy to repeat them until it finally made sense to me. By the end of the session she would always ask me if I wanted to go back to certain topics, or if there’s a topic we did not work on that day that I wish to work on.

Laura tutored me for national 5 maths. She was a great tutor for multitude of reasons. She arranged weekly sessions out of school time and she was always on time for these sessions. She also pre planned what we were going to do prior to the session and executed the plan quite amazingly. She never hesitated to re teach something which I didn't quite get. I got an A(band 1) for national 5 maths which attests to Laura being a great tutor.
