I love the English language and I have a love of teaching. Phonics is the foundation of reading. It is vital to know and sound out each letter properly in the alphabet and vowel alphabet. Once you know how to sound out and ignore silent letters in certain words, you will be able to read with ease. Once you are able to read, you will be able to learn from workbooks when it comes to other subjects like math, science, history, art, cooking, etc.
