About Erin
I'm an experienced language tutor who takes a personalised approach to helping people reach their goals.
I became a language tutor after realizing that there is not a lot of help available to people who want to improve their intermediate+ English. Without help, it is hard to adapt to life changes such as moving from one English-speaking country to another with a different accent and vernacular, or a change in working life that requires developing further language skills.
I have a Master's degree in communication, but more importantly, a passion for getting others to communicate!

I specialise in working with intermediate speakers to achieve their English-speaking goals, such as:
- Improving speaking and pronunciation (Are you asked to repeat yourself a lot?)
- Hearing the Aussie accent more clearly (Do you often have to ask people to say things again?)
- Expanding on the type of English that you speak (Have you got amazing academic English but struggle at the pub? Or have you been working in a cafe but are now applying for office jobs?)
Whatever your goal, I have a range of tips, tricks and tools to help you achieve it.
I'm a second-language speaker too, so no need for embarrassment in our lessons! If you're worried about saying something 'wrong', trust me, I've said worse in my own language lessons ;)
