About Lorcan
I am 22 years old and am currently pursuing a Master's in Mechanical Engineering in UCD after achieving a 1st Class Honors in my Bachelor's Degree.
I completed my Leaving Cert in 2022 and have been offering lessons since. I immediately took an interest in tutoring and have always loved helping a student reach that moment when a topic finally clicks.
Along with my tutoring experience, I have also been employed by the National Concert Hall since 2022 to teach in a program designed to introduce children to complicated physics and music topics in an easy, digestible, and interactive way.

My belief when tutoring is that there is always a way of explaining a concept in a way that can be understood and that each student will have their own unique way of understanding.
My aim when tutoring is to help develop the ability to break down complex problems into smaller and simpler parts. When a student can do this effectively, every question becomes a matter of knowing the basics.
