About Ashley
I have a BA in media and journalism, and an MA in creative writing, with several years experience as a freelance journalist and writer for university publications. I am also a published writer. I am patient and kind, yet firm enough to challenge my students.

My teaching style is based on showing rather than telling, in an effort to get the student to work on the issue themselves. For example, showing a corrected sentence structure that I have wrote, rather than helping alter the students. I believe in thoroughly explaining things step by step, with patience and understanding. While I provide structure with lessons, I like to flexible in order for the student to get what they need from me and ask questions when needed. If the course of action needs to be changed, I will change it!
