Betsy has been my vocal coach for 6 years and has not only helped me greatly improve my skills, but also helped me gain confidence and knowledge about the musical theatre world I was so interested in. Without Betsy's help I would never have gained the confidence and skill to land the roles I did in my college productions! Betsy and I have known each other for years and I've always admired her voice and performing abilities! Finally, I had the opportunity to train with her as a vocal student and she totally transformed my approach to breathing techniques and thinking about vocal placement. I've been classically trained since I was a kid but still struggled with mixing my head and chest voice. She helped me break through that issue with ease! She is an excellent teacher and I highly recommend her!

Betsy and I have known each other personally for almost a decade now. When I got back into theater performance (after over a decade off the stage) back in 2023, I decided to start taking voice lessons with her to get back into shape.

Not only did I swiftly regain what skill I had previously within a few months of work with her, but my voice has also improved drastically beyond that in the three years since. I have unlocked range, power, and tone beyond what I imagined I would ever have been capable of. It seems like I have broken through perceived personal barriers at least once a year and unlocked new talents on the opposite side of those breakthroughs! I recently sang “Music of the Night” at a cabaret Betsy put together, and when I heard the recording of my voice, I was astounded - I had no idea my voice sounds the way it does now! (And yes, I mean that in the best way possible.)

Betsy is a phenomenal teacher. She has such expertise and training that her guidance and talent seems to flow effortlessly from her. She makes it look MUCH easier than it feels when learning a technique! But she is also patient and makes the learning process light-hearted even as she drives you forward toward your goal. Most importantly, she really focuses on what you want to achieve individually with your vocal goals, and teaches skills that build on each other in a way that supports healthy vocal cords. I cannot recommend her enough!
