About Harry
I qualified as a teacher in 2013 and now embarking upon my tenth year.
I have taught in primary, secondary, private and special needs schools teaching students of all ages. This is work that continues to this very day.
I also tutor English online to young students all around the world as well as Latin to students of all ages. I am an amazing teacher, having won awards for outstanding innovation and nothing gets me more excited than a student who is making progress!

I am happy to teach both adults and children.
For Latin I teach according to the Cambridge Latin Course only. Please let me know what book and stage you are on when you contact me. These lessons have a heavy language and grammar focus - I do not however go into the cultural side.
A bit about me - I am 39 years old and I am a qualified teacher with ten years experience teaching. I have taught as a private tutor since 2016 and I have won awards for teaching innovation.
I have taught in all sectors of education from state run mainstream schools to the high end private, independent schools plus special needs education. I have taught every age range and enjoy working with young people of all abilities, helping them with their learning and moving them forward.
Spaces are limited so please do contact me to see if I can meet your needs. All lessons are 60 minutes long. Homework can also be provided on request as long as I have prior notice.
I am very much a spontaneous teacher, adapting quickly to the needs of my students and am quite flexible in that way. I am meticulous with my lesson planning and work hard to ensure positive outcomes.

Harry tutored my son for over 2 years. He came to our house and was very accommodating of our family situation. My son has a diagnosis of Aspergers and Harry was a very calming influence on him. Details
I charge £30 per hour as standard for a one hour session. In a standard lesson, I will introduce new vocabulary, a passage of reading followed by comprehension to test understanding as well as grammar activities to further extend and practise the new language elements in the class.
