About Christian
I am a Babson College student with a strong academic background in business, accounting, and math. I enjoy helping students understand challenging concepts by breaking them down into clear, manageable steps. My goal as a tutor is to create a patient and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence over time.
I specialize in math support and pre-college preparation for middle school and high school students. Whether a student needs help with homework, test preparation, study habits, or getting ready for the expectations of college, I focus on personalized lessons that match their learning style and goals. I believe that strong communication, consistency, and encouragement are just as important as academic knowledge.
What sets me apart is that I understand what it takes to transition from high school to college and succeed in a demanding academic environment. I am professional, reliable, and committed to helping each student improve not only their grades, but also their confidence and independence as learners.

My approach as a tutor is to make math and pre-college prep feel clear, manageable, and less overwhelming. I focus on breaking down difficult concepts step by step, then helping students practice until they feel confident solving problems on their own. Instead of only giving answers, I like to explain the reasoning behind each step so students understand the “why” and not just the formula.
A typical lesson starts with a quick check-in to see what the student is working on in class or what they are struggling with. Then, we review the key concept, walk through examples together, and practice similar problems until the student becomes more comfortable. For pre-college prep, I can help with study habits, organization, application planning, basic essay brainstorming, and building confidence for the transition into college.
What sets me apart is that I am a Babson College student, so I understand both academic expectations and the preparation needed for college-level work. I am patient, encouraging, and focused on creating lessons that match each student’s individual learning style. My goal is not just to help students improve their grades, but also to help them become more independent and confident learners.
My lessons are best for middle school and high school students who need support in math, homework help, test preparation, or pre-college readiness. I can also work with students who want to strengthen their study skills, prepare for college expectations, or feel more confident before entering a new academic environment.
