About Dylan
I have always enjoyed education and appreciate the value of one on one explanation. Holding an advanced degree in economics from a major English university after a liberal arts education I feel comfortable helping students with a variety of different subjects, test taking prep, and how to handle the stresses of the modern education system.
I also coach high school sports at a California based college preparatory school and have been tutoring students at the school and at local colleges (Dominican University, University of California Berkeley). I try and take the intimidation out of learning and bring concepts to an easy level for students to understand and grow.

I specialize in learn by doing approach. Taking the time to explain base concepts to students to attempt to ensure they understand systems instead of hunting for answers. I try and use a socratic method of teaching as I find it helps students retain knowledge.
One of my strongest attributes is being able to connect theoretical ideas to real world examples that can give students helpful ideas to begin with and jumpstart their own intellectual curiousity.
