About Minh
I am writing to express my strong interest in the Science tutoring as advertised on Indeed website. As a first-year Civil Engineering student at Nottingham Trent University (NTU), I believe that my academic background, tutoring experience, and passion for assisting others make me a suitable candidate for this position.
Throughout my time studying under the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at the American International School of Vietnam (AISVN), I had the opportunity to tutor my classmates in various subjects. I have always possessed a healthy balance between academics and sports, which has contributed to my relatively high academic performance. I have a natural ability to learn quickly and possess a curiosity that drives me to understand complex concepts. Recognizing that some of my peers struggled to grasp certain concepts, I realized that there is often a significant gap between students and teachers. As a fellow student, I was able to bridge this gap by understanding the difficulties my classmates faced and providing them with personalized assistance. This not only improved communication but also created a sense of comfort and trust between myself and those I helped.
I came across this post on the Unitemps website and I am excited to apply for this job, as it aligns perfectly with my strength in assisting and communicating with others around my demographic. Being a first-year student, I can share my learning experiences not only from university but also from my time in elementary, secondary, and high school. This allows me to relate to students on various academic levels and provide valuable insights and guidance.
In terms of previous experience, I have tutored my friends and younger students in subjects such as Math, Physics, and English. Additionally, I have gained leadership skills as the captain of both the basketball and cross country teams. These experiences have taught me the importance of effective communication, adaptability, and the ability to work well with others.
If given the opportunity, I believe that my fast learning abilities, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn from others will make me a valuable asset to your tutoring program. I am open to feedback and constantly strive to improve my teaching methods to ensure the success of my students.
