About Mattias

Since I was a child, I've always been fascinated by science in general, but it was during my high school years that I realized my true calling: chemistry. This strong passion led me to graduate with honors (110 cum laude), and today I'm continuing my academic education by pursuing a Master's Degree in Chemical Sciences and Technologies at the University of Milan-Bicocca. As a recent and currently undergraduate student, I'm well aware of the stress, anxiety, and difficulties encountered when studying chemistry. My goal as a tutor is to offer a fresh perspective on this discipline, demonstrating how it is truly a profoundly logical and omnipresent system in everyday life. I want to help you not only pass your tests, recover your debts, or pass your university exams, but also build a solid, reasoned study method.

About the lesson

Who are the lessons for: My lessons are intended for high school and university students. I offer comprehensive support for passing exams or taking exams in all major fields: General, Organic, Inorganic, Analytical, and Physical Chemistry. Teaching Techniques and Method: My teaching approach focuses on logical and practical reasoning. Chemistry is made up of interconnected rules and mechanisms: the goal is not to memorize lists or formulas, but to understand the underlying process so you can move forward independently when facing any new exercise or problem. Typical Lesson Structure: I structure my lessons into three phases -> 1. Reading notes and analyzing the syllabus to fully understand the teacher's requirements and focus. 2. Targeted explanation of critical concepts, eliminating unnecessary textbook complications. 3. Active simulation with guided work through exercises, tests, or past exams to practice logical thinking when faced with a blank sheet of paper. Teaching specifics: In online lessons, I use a graphics tablet to write reactions, molecular structures, and stoichiometric calculations in real time, ensuring the same interactivity and clarity as a traditional explanation at the desk.
