About Mignon
My name is Mignon but everybody calls me Minnie. I am a Bachelors of Laws graduate. My passion for language drives me to teach others the beauty of language and the worlds it opens for you. Afrikaans as well as English has always been subjects I have been passionate about. I am able to help improve grammar, punctuation, poetry, writing, comprehension and literature.

As a tutor, I always ask students to tell me about themselves during our first lesson. This is because of a well-known principle of teaching: you must know your students to plan lessons and teach them.
I attempt to understand the student's level of understanding, from there I know where I can begin teaching and aim to build up a student's knowledge. I always try to help in the same way I would like others to help me.
Afrikaans as well as English has always been my favourite subjects, and I have a deep passion and appreciation for it. I love helping students navigate their way through this language and learn new skills. I understand the way language questions are asked and I can help interpret questions and formulate answers.
