About Hudson
"I have over 5 years of experience teaching guitar and supporting students with different learning needs, including ADHD, dyslexia, and anxiety. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music with a focus on Guitar, which has helped me combine musical knowledge with flexible teaching methods. I believe every student can find success when lessons are designed around their strengths.
My teaching style is adaptive, patient, and focused on creating a positive learning environment. I use practical activities, clear explanations, and encouraging feedback to help students feel comfortable and motivated. Music can be a powerful way to build confidence and personal expression.
I have worked with students at different skill levels, helping them improve their technique, creativity, and connection with music. For example, I may use simple patterns or familiar songs to help a student develop skills while enjoying the learning process. Every achievement, big or small, is an important part of their musical journey.
I am passionate about helping students discover their abilities and enjoy playing guitar. Everyone deserves a learning experience where they feel supported, valued, and inspired to grow through music."

"My guitar teaching approach focuses on building strong foundations while helping students enjoy a creative and comfortable learning experience. I teach ergonomic technique, open chords, power chords, finger dexterity, ear training, and music theory in a simple and practical way. I help students understand how their hands, ears, and musical ideas work together.
I introduce concepts like Roman Numeral Chord Nomenclature to help students understand chord movement and song structures. For example, learning how chords connect in a progression helps students play songs more confidently and create their own ideas. I also use exercises that improve coordination, timing, and control.
My lessons are designed to support students who want to develop expressive playing and a strong musical foundation. I guide learners through rhythm patterns, chord transitions, fingerstyle techniques, and creative exploration. Each lesson includes clear goals and activities that match the student's pace and interests.
I believe every guitarist can improve with the right guidance and consistent practice. I help students develop confidence, musical awareness, and the skills needed to express themselves through guitar. My aim is to make learning enjoyable while helping you become a more skilled and independent musician."
