About Heather
Guitar instruction works best when it is rooted in ear training and consistent practice. Only a few minutes of daily focus can lead to massive improvements in your chord transitions and power chords. Drawing on 13 years of experience, I provide a free trial session to assess your starting level and build a roadmap. This approach ensures that returning learners and beginners alike receive exactly the right level of challenge.
It is quite rewarding to see students go from struggling with basic shapes to playing full songs with confidence. Playing the instrument should be a fun and satisfying experience that brings you real happiness.

Ever wonder how your favorite guitar solos actually come together? My method relies on 13 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance to demystify the fretboard for you. I have taught 169 students, ranging from kids to self-taught players looking for better structure. We tackle reading tabs, rhythm guitar, and those tricky barre chords together in a way that makes sense.
It is a joy to guide intermediate learners and performance-focused students through complex scales and modes. My background as an East-Asian newcomer also influences how I communicate complex musical ideas with clarity and patience. You will find that improvisation and soloing become much more accessible once we fix your technique.
