About Kristine Mae
Hello! I'm a Software Technology graduate with a strong passion for education and helping young learners build confidence in Mathematics.
During my academic journey, I developed an educational mathematics application designed for elementary pupils. This experience allowed me to better understand the common challenges students face in learning Math and inspired me to help children overcome those difficulties through clear, patient, and personalized instruction.
I believe that every child can succeed in Mathematics when lessons are explained in a way that matches their learning style and pace. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop their confidence, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
I enjoy creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes—because that's an important part of learning. Every lesson is designed to make mathematical concepts easier to understand through simple explanations, guided practice, and real-life examples.
Whether your child needs extra support with homework, wants to prepare for quizzes and exams, or simply wants to strengthen their Math foundation, I am committed to helping them achieve their learning goals one step at a time.

My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand Mathematics instead of simply memorizing formulas or procedures. Every lesson is adjusted to the student's current level, learning pace, and areas that need improvement. I believe that when students understand the "why" behind each solution, they become more confident and independent in solving problems.
Each session begins with a short review of previous lessons to reinforce learning. I then introduce a new concept using simple explanations and relatable examples that are easy for elementary students to understand. Students are guided through step-by-step examples before working on practice exercises independently. Throughout the lesson, I encourage students to ask questions and explain their own thinking, allowing me to identify misconceptions and provide immediate guidance.
A typical lesson includes:
* A short review of previous topics
* Introduction to a new concept
* Guided examples with step-by-step explanations
* Practice exercises with increasing difficulty
* Correction and discussion of mistakes
* A short quiz or assessment to monitor progress
* Homework or optional practice activities when needed
I also provide assistance with homework, quiz preparation, and exam reviews while ensuring that students genuinely understand the concepts rather than simply copying answers.
My goal is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes. I use patience, positive reinforcement, and clear explanations to help students build confidence in Mathematics.
