As a proud Bachelor of Secondary Education graduate majoring in Mathematics, I bring specialized, learner-centered training and genuine passion to every session, guiding students confidently from foundational numeracy all the way through the most advanced and complex calculations. My teaching approach starts with building deep understanding rather than rote memorization: I move intentionally from relatable real-world examples and clear visual illustrations — where my strengths in arts and design shine — to formal mathematical notation, ensuring every concept makes intuitive sense before we apply formulas. I integrate my expertise in chess alongside math lessons to sharpen logical reasoning, strategic foresight, and disciplined problem-solving, skills that transfer directly to tackling multi-step problems, proofs, and difficult computations with confidence and clarity. I adapt my pacing, language, and methods to suit each individual, offering bilingual support in English and Tagalog, and I work with a wide range of learners: secondary students at every grade level, those preparing for college entrance assessments or the Licensure Examination for Teachers, and anyone eager to see mathematics come alive through creativity as well as logic. What truly sets my tutoring apart is this unique combination: I don’t just teach the subject — I connect mathematical patterns to design, structure to strategy, and abstract ideas to tangible creative expression, making even the hardest topics accessible, memorable, and meaningful while helping every learner build both mastery and genuine self-assurance.
