About Qihang
McMaster University Software and Biomedical Engineering graduate (Class of 2025). I have participated in competitions such as COMC and Euclid, which have strengthened my problem-solving skills. Through multiple university group projects, I have developed strong teamwork and communication abilities. My teaching approach focuses on helping students connect concepts to formulas rather than simply memorizing equations. As a recent McMaster Engineering graduate, I explain material from a student's perspective and adapt lessons to each student's learning style and pace.
A typical lesson includes reviewing previous material and discussing mistakes from past homework to identify areas for improvement. We then introduce new concepts through examples and practice problems together. I encourage questions and active participation to build confidence and problem-solving skills.
I tutor students in Grades 7–11 in mathematics and science, including homework support, exam preparation, and strengthening foundational concepts.
