About Aletha
Bachelor of Songwriting from JMC Academy serves as the foundation for my 297 students. I remember sitting at the keys for the first time, realizing that technical skill is merely a vehicle for expression.
My coaching style is calm because I prioritize hand independence and rhythm over rigid repetition. I help students grasp sight transposition and sight playing through contemporary music.
I have spent 4 years observing how different minds interpret melody and timing. You will find my support focuses on the nuances of your own creative path. I simply hold the space for you to develop your piano fluency.

Soft jazz chords hanging in the air define the atmosphere we establish during our time together. Pop and contemporary styles provide the framework for learning rhythm and timing. I bring my degree-level knowledge to ensure that sight playing becomes a natural reflex. Achieving hand independence requires a steady pace that I help you maintain.
Your piano journey involves consistent practice on specific techniques like sight transposition. My 8.0 score in teaching effectiveness reflects the structure I bring to our sessions.
