About Sabrina
Hi, I’m Sabrina. I’m originally from Switzerland, currently living in Canberra, Australia. In my free time, I love cooking, reading, and drawing. Sports are a big part of my life too, I enjoy hiking, cycling, and skiing, and I’m always up for a new adventure.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and German Language & Literature from the University of Bern and am now pursuing a Master's degree in Environmental Science at the Australian National University.
Beyond my academic background, I'm deeply passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge. I offer personalised and relaxed lessons in German speaking, German grammar, and other aspects of the German language, tailored to all levels. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I’m here to help you gain confidence and fluency. Learning should be both enjoyable and enriching, and I’m excited to help you on your language journey!

My teaching philosophy focuses on creating interactive, engaging lessons that are tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. I value communicative competence, helping students not only understand grammar and vocabulary but also build confidence in using the language in real-world situations. I use a variety of multimedia resources, interactive exercises, and conversational practice to enhance comprehension and retention.
My lessons are designed for:
All levels (from beginners to advanced learners aiming for fluency)
All ages (with materials and approaches customised for children, teenagers, and adults)
Each lesson lasts 60 minutes, providing ample time for explanations, practice, and feedback.

Perfect! Good listener and good Explainer
Perfect! Although young and reasonably inexperienced, Sabrina is confident and good with my kids. They are enjoying their time with her and learning as well.
