About Sarah
I am an enthusiastic and dependable math tutor who specializes in breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps or ideas. I have worked with many students over the past 8 years who struggle to understand math and science. I enjoy helping students develop the confidence and skills they need to work independently.
My approach is calm, structured, and encouraging. I understand that math can feel overwhelming, so I focus on clarity, repetition, and guided practice. I value clear communication, punctuality, and professionalism in every lesson.
My goal is not only to help students complete their work but to help them truly understand how math works.

My teaching approach is structured, patient, and focused on clarity. I break math and science concepts into simple, step-by-step processes so students understand why they are doing each step, not just how. I use guided practice, visual examples, and repetition to strengthen understanding and confidence.
A typical lesson begins with a short review, followed by a clear explanation of the day’s concept. We practice together, then students try problems independently while I provide feedback and correction.
What sets me apart is my ability to make math and science feel comfortable and manageable for students who often feel overwhelmed. I focus on building both skill and confidence.
My lessons are ideal for students ranging from kindergarten to grade 12.
