With a Bachelor's degree in Music and six years of real-world teaching experience, I offer both structured learning and creative freedom. My teaching spans across age groups and skill levels, and I enjoy helping students turn challenges into breakthroughs through supportive guidance. I approach each student as an individual, understanding that every player has different goals and styles. Whether you're aiming to perform live, write songs, or simply enjoy music, I craft lessons that match your ambition and pace. My sessions are a mix of discipline, fun, and honest musical growth. My own background includes band performances, studio sessions, and years of collaborative songwriting. These experiences fuel my teaching, adding relevance and inspiration to every lesson. Guitar lessons start by covering the essential groundwork—basic chords, tuning, hand coordination, and strumming patterns. Whether you're picking up a guitar for the first time or returning after years, I tailor the early sessions to build comfort and create a strong technical foundation.
As you grow more confident, we dive into more complex techniques such as barre chords, fingerpicking, and rhythm variations. Lessons also cover music theory basics and fretboard navigation, giving you tools to understand and create music with greater control and creativity.
For advanced players, lessons shift toward personal expression and refinement. We explore soloing, improvisation, songwriting, and genre-based techniques—from blues licks to jazz voicings. Every session is structured to inspire progress, with practice routines designed to keep your playing purposeful and engaging.
