About Shobha
I have over 5 years of experience teaching computer programming, and I love making complex ideas simple for middle school students. My teaching introduces them to the basics of coding through puzzles, visual tools, and interactive tasks. I explain ideas like loops and variables using everyday comparisons that students can easily relate to. I often include small home-friendly coding activities so they can practice safely outside of class. My lessons focus on building understanding step by step. I use demonstrations to show how code changes behavior in real time. Young learners enjoy seeing their instructions turn into animations or small programs. I make coding feel approachable by keeping the language simple and the activities fun. Over the years, I’ve helped many students move from confusion to clarity. I also make sure each learner feels supported, especially those who think coding might be too hard. My goal is to spark curiosity and show how programming helps us understand the digital world. I look forward to guiding new learners on their coding journey.

My programming teaching approach is gentle yet structured, helping learners understand the math behind code. I begin with computational reasoning and simple logic models. These small ideas lead to larger programming concepts naturally. I also guide students through data handling, algorithm patterns, and methodical debugging. We explore how code behaves and why certain solutions work. I am comfortable working with Reflective Programmer and Future Architect learners. They often appreciate a quiet, thoughtful space to grow. I support them in exploring code at their own pace. Each lesson includes moments to pause and analyze problems deeply. I encourage calm confidence in tackling challenges.
