About Emma
"Why should playing guitar feel like a struggle instead of a creative outlet? My teaching philosophy centres on the idea that even intermediate players need a clear path forward for grade exam prep. I utilise my MMus training from Guildhall to break down complex solos into manageable parts.
Whether you are a hobbyist or someone seeking a structured curriculum, we will work through your specific hurdles together. I will keep the process straightforward and manageable."

"Performing for 8 years with the BBC Symphony Orchestra gave me a deep understanding of musical architecture. 13 years of teaching guitar has allowed me to help 133 students master complex topics. I focus heavily on technical proficiency like barre chords, power chords, and soloing.
Tuning and maintenance are also key parts of the foundation I build for my pupils. I bring my MMus degree from Guildhall to every single interaction. My approach to guitar is honest and energetic. I am ready to help you succeed."
