About Riya
I am a sophomore at Baylor University studying Public Health on the pre-med track and a member of the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core (BIC) program. My long-term goal is to become a pediatrician, and I am passionate about working with children and helping others succeed. Through my experiences in healthcare, volunteering, leadership, and mentoring, I have developed strong communication skills, patience, and a supportive attitude. I enjoy creating positive learning experiences and helping students gain confidence in their abilities.

Hello! My name is Riya, and I am a current sophomore at Baylor University studying Public Health in the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core (BIC) program. The BIC curriculum places a strong emphasis on reading, writing, discussion, and critical thinking, which has helped me develop strong English and communication skills.
My lessons are tailored to each student's needs and focus on building confidence while improving reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, essay writing, and analytical thinking. I work with elementary, middle school, and high school students and can help with homework, class assignments, essays, test preparation, and general English skills.
What sets me apart is my patient, encouraging teaching style and my experience mentoring younger students through swimming, volunteering, and leadership roles. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to help them become stronger, more confident communicators and writers.
