Hi! I'm Mich, a committed and friendly tutor offering lessons in Afrikaans, English, and Mathematics for learners from Grade 1 to Grade 10. I hold a strong academic background. I’m passionate about creating a positive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated. I teach in both English and Afrikaans, depending on what the student is most comfortable with. My goal is always to make learning clear, manageable, and even enjoyable! You can count on me to be professional, reliable, and encouraging. I’m here to help students succeed — not just academically, but in how they feel about their learning journey too.

As a dedicated and approachable tutor, I offer private lessons in Afrikaans, English, and Mathematics for learners from Grade 1 to Grade 10. My teaching style is calm, patient, and structured — I aim to create a space where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and build confidence. Each lesson is tailored to the learner’s individual needs, whether they need help understanding tricky concepts, preparing for exams, or improving their marks. I focus on simplifying content, using examples and step-by-step explanations, and building a strong foundation before moving ahead. I’m fluent in both English and Afrikaans, and I comfortably teach in either language — or even switch between the two, depending on the learner’s preference and comfort. Students can expect a typical lesson to include: A quick review of previous work Clear, interactive explanations Practice problems or language activities Encouragement and regular feedback Whether your child is struggling or simply wants to boost their performance, I’m here to support their journey with patience and positivity.
