About Valentine

Hi, I’m Valentine. I hold a BCom honours degree in Risk Management and Insurance, and I am passionate about making business-related subjects easier to understand.

I know that subjects such as Accounting, Risk Management, Insurance, Commerce and programming languages like R and Python, can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when concepts are presented in complicated language. My teaching style focuses on breaking these concepts down into simple steps, using practical examples and giving students the opportunity to ask questions without feeling pressured.

Each lesson is adapted to your individual needs and learning pace. Whether you are struggling with a particular topic, preparing for an assessment or simply want to improve your overall understanding, we will work through it together in a structured and practical way.

My aim is not simply to help you find the correct answer, but to help you understand how and why the answer works so that you can confidently tackle similar questions on your own.

About the lesson

I believe complicated subjects become much easier when they are explained in simple language. My lessons are relaxed, interactive and adapted to each student's level of understanding.

As a BCom Risk Management and Insurance graduate, I tutor Risk Management, Insurance, Accounting, Commerce, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and related subjects. I use practical examples, step-by-step explanations and exercises to help students understand concepts and build confidence in applying them.

Students can expect each lesson to focus on the areas they need the most help with, whether that is understanding a difficult topic, working through calculations, preparing for an assessment or improving their overall understanding of a subject.
