"Many players struggle to bridge the gap between mechanical strumming patterns and the soul of the music. Rhythm is everything. I correct this by focusing on fingerpicking, electric technique, reading sheet music, and essential rhythm guitar mechanics.
Whether you want to master intricate flamenco runs or keep a steady beat for a bolero, we will integrate these skills into your daily playing. These lessons draw upon my 12 years of gigging experience to ensure you are playing music that feels alive and authentic.
My background as a nueva-cancion teacher ensures that you are not just hitting strings but telling a story with every note. We work together to turn technical drills into expressive performances. You will find that my lessons provide a clear path forward through the complexities of the fretboard. I look forward to our first session together as we explore the rhythms of the Americas."

"Fifteen years of gigging Latin music across Australia coupled with my formal status as a self-taught guitarist form the foundation of my practice. These deep roots in bolero, flamenco, and chacarera traditions allow me to offer an integrated cultural and musical package to my pupils. Having spent 12 years teaching this style, I find that rhythm is the heartbeat of every successful performance. I enjoy working with teens, working professionals, kids, intermediate learners, and hobbyists who are eager to embrace a new sonic perspective.
My approach remains grounded in the traditions I grew up with while keeping the atmosphere playful and motivated. You are welcome to reach out and see if my style matches your artistic goals."
