About Henil
Hi, I'm Henil Dharod, a FIDE-rated Chess Coach with a passion for both playing and teaching chess. I believe chess is much more than a game—it is a powerful tool for developing logical thinking, concentration, creativity, patience, and decision-making skills.
With competitive playing experience and a strong understanding of chess fundamentals, I enjoy helping students build confidence and improve their game through structured, engaging, and personalized coaching. My teaching style focuses on making complex concepts simple and ensuring that every student understands the ideas behind each move rather than relying on memorization.
Whether you're a beginner taking your first steps into chess or an intermediate player looking to strengthen your skills, I create lessons that match your learning pace and goals. My aim is to make every class enjoyable, interactive, and rewarding while helping students develop a lifelong love for the game.

My chess classes are designed to be interactive, personalized, and concept-driven, ensuring that every student understands why a move is played instead of simply memorizing it. I believe that a strong understanding of fundamentals is the key to long-term improvement.
Every lesson is tailored to the student's age, skill level, and learning pace. Classes include a balanced mix of theory, practical games, tactical puzzles, game analysis, and fun activities to keep students engaged and motivated. Regular feedback and progress tracking help students identify their strengths and improve on their weaknesses.
Unlike traditional coaching that focuses only on winning games, my classes also develop critical thinking, concentration, decision-making, patience, confidence, and sportsmanship—skills that benefit students both on and off the chessboard.
Whether your goal is to learn chess as a hobby, improve your game, or prepare for tournaments, I provide a structured learning path in a friendly and supportive environment where every student can enjoy the journey and achieve steady progress.
