About Eric

I hold a Mandarin Proficiency Test certificate, and my spoken Chinese meets the professional standard of TV hosts, so I can provide you with the most standard guidance on Chinese pronunciation.

As an international Chinese teacher, I often participate in educational exchange programs around the world, so my students come from different countries and regions.

About the lesson

Hello! I'm your Chinese teacher, Eric.
I have over 4 years of experience teaching Chinese as a foreign language, specializing in helping students from zero to intermediate and advanced levels improve their spoken Chinese.
The course content will be fully customized to your needs, such as:
- Practical Chinese for travel scenarios (like booking hotels, ordering food, and everyday communication)
- Professional Chinese for business communication
- Targeted tutoring for the HSK exam

In my personal life, I love various sports. I often ride my road bike, work out, swim, and even participate in marathons. I'm also a long-time donor to the International Red Cross and UNICEF, always believing in the significance of giving back within my means.
My class atmosphere is fun and relaxed, allowing you to learn Chinese efficiently without pressure. I warmly welcome you to book a trial lesson, and I look forward to starting this Chinese learning journey with you!

I hold a Mandarin proficiency test certificate, with speaking skills that meet the standards of a TV host, so I can provide you with the most accurate Chinese pronunciation guidance.

As a Chinese teacher, I often travel around the world to participate in educational exchange activities, so my students come from various countries and regions.

One of my most memorable students is a little boy named Aiman from Kuala Lumpur. Initially, he only knew simple expressions like "hello," "thank you," and "goodbye." After some time of learning, he not only became the best Chinese student in the class but also won first prize in a school event. More importantly, he overcame his previous shyness and reluctance to communicate, and now he is very cheerful and has made many good friends.

Feel free to subscribe to my trial lesson! In the trial lesson, I will work with you to discuss and set personalized Chinese learning goals. In the subsequent classes, I will guide you throughout and provide support to help you successfully achieve these goals.

Teacher Eric is such a patient teacher. I couldn’t speak Chinese at all before, but after studying with him for less than two years, I can now go anywhere in China—order food, take a taxi, get on a plane—and everyone understands me. I’m really happy to have met Teacher Eric. I only wish I’d met him five years earlier! Back then I had a job, and if I’d known Chinese at the time, my income would have quadrupled by now.
