About Anne
I am an enthusiastic piano tutor with 5 years of teaching experience, teaching high school students, college students, and adults. I have successfully taught around 300 students, helping them improve technical skills, musical understanding, and confidence.
My teaching philosophy is centred on patience, clear guidance, and personal attention. I believe every student can learn piano effectively when lessons are adapted to their pace, goals, and style. I aim to make lessons structured, enjoyable, and meaningful.
In my sessions, I focus on posture, hand technique, finger coordination, rhythm, sight-reading, and basic music theory. I also encourage creativity and musical expression so students can play confidently. I use practical exercises and familiar songs to make learning engaging.
One of my notable achievements is helping beginners grow into confident performers and supporting adults returning to piano after a long break. Many students have shown steady progress through consistent guidance.
My goal is to inspire students to enjoy piano, build strong skills, and develop a lifelong connection with music.

My teaching approach for piano is supportive, flexible, and well-structured. I focus on clear communication so students understand each lesson easily. I adapt my teaching style to suit different learning needs and help students progress at their own pace.
I connect lessons with real-life examples such as familiar tunes, performance experiences, and musical case studies. Guided practice and regular feedback help students improve their skills steadily.
Along with piano playing, I teach music theory, harmony, rhythm control, sight reading, ear training, and basic improvisation. My goal is to help students build strong musical foundations, confidence, and a lifelong love for piano learning.
