About Lynetta

I am a certified educator with a master's degree and more than 15 years of teaching experience, including special education and individualized instruction for students with diverse learning needs.

My passion for teaching extends beyond the traditional classroom. I enjoy helping beginners discover the excitement and personal satisfaction of learning to play guitar.

I understand that learning a new instrument can feel intimidating, especially for someone with no previous musical experience. My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and adaptable, with an emphasis on making each student feel comfortable and capable.

I specialize in introducing beginners to foundational guitar skills rather than advanced techniques. My background in education allows me to break new concepts into manageable steps, adapt lessons to different learning styles, and create an enjoyable learning environment.

Whether working with children or adults, my goal is to help students build confidence, develop practical skills, and experience the joy of making music at their own pace.

About the lesson

My beginner guitar lessons are designed specifically for children and adults who are new to playing guitar or who want to revisit the fundamentals in a relaxed, encouraging environment.

Students will learn essential beginner skills, including guitar familiarity, proper positioning, basic chords, strumming patterns, rhythm, simple chord transitions, and playing familiar songs.

Each lesson is personalized to the student's age, learning style, interests, and individual goals. I believe learning an instrument should be enjoyable rather than overwhelming, so lessons progress at a comfortable pace with clear explanations, guided practice, and plenty of encouragement.

My approach emphasizes building a strong musical foundation while helping students develop confidence, coordination, and independence.

Whether a student dreams of playing favorite songs, accompanying their own singing, or simply exploring a new hobby, my goal is to make learning guitar an engaging and rewarding experience.

These lessons are intended for beginners rather than intermediate or advanced guitar students.
