About Nicole
Hello! I’m Nicole, originally from Switzerland, and I’m passionate about languages and cultural exchange.
With a background as a registered nurse, I’ve worked in diverse environments, including humanitarian work in Colombia with street children. During that time, I also taught languages to both children and adults, which helped me discover my true passion for teaching.
Having traveled extensively across Asia, Europe, and South America, I truly understand the excitement and challenges of learning a new language. It can be frustrating when you can’t express yourself or feel understood. Whether you’re at a restaurant, with family members, shopping at a flea market, or traveling, it’s challenging when you can’t say what you want. My own experiences traveling through many countries have shown me how vital language is, and that’s why I’m so passionate about helping others overcome these barriers.
I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that builds confidence and practical communication skills through real-life situations.

I also taught my son German, Italian, and Spanish (A1–B1) from the age of 6. Through this journey, I learned how important the connection between teacher and student truly is.
Because if the lesson is boring, repetitive, or even too difficult, your child quickly loses interest. They shut down, lose focus, become frustrated, and might even tear up. That’s exactly what we want to avoid.
My goal is to be that gem of a teacher — someone who uplifts, encourages, and creates a safe, joyful, and confidence-building learning space for children and adults.
So, my lessons will be fresh, active, diverse, and dynamic, and they will definitely never get boring, while also being at the student’s level—not too complicated and not too easy.
My teaching style:
