About Akshayaa
I am a junior in high school with eight years of violin experience, including success in UIL competitions, and I am currently an IB student. Having been part of both middle school and high school orchestra, I understand the expectations, pressures, and learning experiences from a student’s point of view. This allows me to teach in a way that is realistic, encouraging, and well-paced. I also understand how to balance academics and extracurricular commitments while still nurturing a genuine passion for music, and I help students learn how to do the same.

My lessons begin with getting to know the violin and bow, proper posture, and care for the instrument. We focus on building a strong foundation through tone production, basic music theory, and intonation using scales, rhythms, and beginner exercises. I often use Suzuki books for learning new pieces and incorporate structured, technique-focused warm-ups in every lesson to help students improve consistently and confidently.
