About Luana

Hi!
I’m Luana, a belly dance teacher originally from Argentina with Lebanese roots.
I’ve been teaching in Auckland for the past five years, sharing my passion for rhythm, movement and musical expression through personalized private sessions.
I love creating a relaxed and supportive space where women can feel confident, feminine and free while exploring this beautiful dance.

About the lesson

For me, belly dance is about feeling the music. It’s about listening to the drum, recognising the beats, and letting your body respond naturally. When you start hearing the rhythm clearly, your hips, chest, and shoulders begin to move with intention and that’s when it becomes really fun.
In our one-on-one sessions, everything is adapted to you: what you want to learn, what feels challenging, what you’re curious about, and what kind of music you love. Some women want to focus on shimmies and strong hip work, others want fluidity, musical interpretation, or simply to feel more confident moving their bodies. We build the class around your goals and your energy that day.
I teach in a relaxed, friendly, and supportive way. There is space to laugh, repeat things as many times as needed, ask questions, and explore the music without pressure.
You don’t need previous experience. You just need the willingness to move and enjoy.
If you’re looking for a personal space where you can reconnect with yourself, feel feminine, strong, and free while learning to truly dance to the rhythm, I’d love to guide you.
