About Chloe
"Strumming patterns and complex barre chords often frustrate beginners who think they need theory before they can actually play. Music theory is actually the map that makes your practice feel less like a chore and more like a conversation. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Industry from Belmont University in Nashville back when I was starting out. Since then, I have spent 13 years teaching everything from blues progressions to electric technique and ear training.
My approach is intentionally playful because music should be fun even when you are working on difficult fingerpicking. I handle the technical side of power chords so you can focus on the soul of the track.
You will find that I am patient with every hurdle you encounter during our time together. My goal is to ensure you feel comfortable grabbing your instrument and playing for friends at a party. I have worked with many grade exam candidates who needed a more grounded way to handle their requirements. You can expect a relaxed environment where we work together to build your confidence."

"Starting with a free trial session allows me to assess your current level without any pressure or expectations. Most people assume the first meeting is for performing, but it is really just for us to see if we click. We will look at your specific goals, whether that means prepping for a grade exam or mastering a tough strumming pattern.
My 13 years of experience means I can quickly pivot if a specific technique is not landing for you. Teens and intermediate learners often find that having a clear plan makes the practice sessions fly by.
I integrate music theory and ear training into the songs you actually want to play. This makes the technical parts feel natural instead of like a dry lecture. You will definitely enjoy the feeling of finally getting those tricky chords to ring out clearly."
