About Dena

Teaching exists because I enjoy mapping out the gaps for self-taught learners who find their own way. I hold a BFA in Musical Theater and utilize my 2 years of experience to prioritize SUSTAINABLE BELT without shredding. My approach focuses on vibrato control, diction, head and chest voice, and breathing control.

I ask many questions before offering answers. I am a Jeannette LoVetri-trained specialist who prefers you leave with a clear method rather than a hollow result.

Stage fear management and pitch control represent common hurdles I help you overcome. I do not rush through the material. Slow progress produces lasting success.

About the lesson

Air humming against the back of your throat provides the initial feedback for our technical work. Homework vocal drills are assigned after every session to anchor the concepts we practice during our time together.

I integrate my BFA training to ensure your mechanics remain healthy while you sing. 9 distinct focus areas ensure we cover the necessary ground without feeling overwhelmed by the technicality of the craft.

My lessons follow a 6.0 rating standard for precision. We analyze your output to ensure the technique takes hold properly. I remain curious about your specific vocal goals. The process continues until the sound feels right.
