About Ben
I’m a high school graduate, been playing sax for 10 years, composing for 5 and made it out of music 2 with a band 6. I took part in the states premiere jazz band, the arts unit jazz orchestra, been on international and interstate music tours and worked through both my schools band programs. I’ve been improvising for 9 years as part of my jazz education. I’ve done casual music and maths tutoring for the past 2 years

I teach by understanding both the student and the topic, developing the skills of the student by addressing short comings one at a time until competency is reached. Music is very personal and as a result should be taught personally, resulting in greater academic and emotional understanding
