About Danielle

As a voice teacher, I strive to inspire confidence in my students by creating a positive and supportive learning environment. My approach is centered around building strong relationships with my students, listening to their needs and concerns, and providing personalized feedback that helps them grow as singers. I believe that every student has unique talents and abilities, and I work hard to help them discover and develop their full potential.

With a degree from Berklee College of Music, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my teaching practice. My background in music theory, technique, and performance gives me a strong foundation to draw upon when working with students. I am passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in music education, and I am committed to helping my students achieve their goals.

In addition to being a seasoned voice teacher, I am also an accomplished songwriter with experience writing for a variety of media. My background in songwriting has given me a deep understanding of the creative process and has allowed me to bring a unique perspective to my teaching practice.

Over the years, I have honed my songwriting skills through a variety of projects, including writing for TV shows, movies, and commercials. This experience has given me a deep understanding of the nuances of songwriting for different media, and has allowed me to develop a versatile and flexible approach to my work.

Whether I am working on a song for a major television series or teaching a beginner how to find their voice, my approach is always focused on excellence, professionalism, and a deep love for the craft of music. With my skills and experience as a songwriter, I am able to offer my students a unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge that helps them grow as singers and performers.

About the lesson

As a seasoned voice teacher, my approach to lesson planning centers on creating a customized experience that meets the unique needs and goals of each individual student. Here is an example of a typical lesson plan I might create for a student:

Warm-Up Exercises: We begin with vocal warm-ups to prepare the voice for singing. This may include lip trills, humming, or vocal sirens to help with breathing, resonance, and vocal flexibility.

Technique Development: I work with the student on specific vocal techniques, such as proper breathing, posture, vocal placement, and diction. We may also work on specific challenges that the student is facing in their singing, such as range, tone, or vibrato.

Repertoire Development: I help the student choose repertoire that is appropriate for their skill level and musical goals. We work on building the student's repertoire by selecting songs that challenge their vocal abilities and stylistic preferences.

Interpretation and Performance: We focus on interpreting the lyrics and emotional content of the song, helping the student connect with the material on a deeper level. We work on stage presence, expression, and overall performance skills to prepare the student for public performance.
