About Arvo

With 9 years of experience in teaching singing, I have developed a strong passion for helping students learn and grow through music. I work with school and college students who want to improve their singing skills and build confidence in their voice.

Over the 9 years, I have seen many students transform from shy beginners into confident performers. Some of my students have participated in cultural events and singing competitions, which has been a very rewarding experience for both them and me.

In my classes, I focus on building a solid musical foundation. Students learn important skills such as breathing techniques, voice control, pitch accuracy, rhythm, and expression. These skills help them sing with more confidence and clarity.

I also believe that every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching style according to their needs and goals. My lessons are designed to be supportive, encouraging, and enjoyable so that students stay motivated to continue learning.

Music is a powerful way to express emotions and creativity. My goal as a tutor is to help students discover their voice, enjoy the learning process, and develop a lifelong love for music.

About the lesson

My methodology for teaching singing is centred on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and effective time management. I believe that each student learns at a different pace, so I adjust my lessons to support their individual development.

I focus on building a strong vocal foundation through breathing control, voice exercises, and pitch training. Once students become comfortable with these basics, I introduce songs that help improve their tone, range, and expression.

Creativity is an important part of my teaching style because it allows students to express their personality through music. I also take time to understand each student’s goals and challenges so I can guide them in a supportive and encouraging way.

Time management helps me organise lessons so that students can practise multiple aspects of singing during each session. In addition to singing, I can also teach related skills such as rhythm training, music listening, and stage performance preparation.
