About Kian

I am a passionate and experienced Guitar tutor with 10 years of teaching and professional background, dedicated to nurturing confident and skilled musicians. Working with school and college students has allowed me to witness inspiring growth stories, from first-time learners to independent performers.

These achievements are the highlights of my teaching career. I emphasise strong technical foundations such as rhythm mastery, smooth chord transitions, accurate scale practice, finger exercises, and expressive performance techniques. I also guide students in developing stage confidence and overcoming performance fear.

My classes are interactive, encouraging, and well-structured to ensure steady improvement. I adapt my teaching methods to suit each student’s strengths and challenges, ensuring personalised growth. My mission is to inspire students to practice consistently, believe in their abilities, and develop a lifelong love and respect for music.

About the lesson

My Guitar teaching methodology is designed around Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to help students become confident and disciplined musicians. I begin by understanding each student’s interest in music and their personal goals, whether they want to learn for enjoyment, academic growth, or performance.

Motivation is maintained by setting realistic weekly targets and encouraging consistent practice. I appreciate every improvement to keep students inspired. Communication is always clear and supportive, as I explain techniques such as chord transitions, rhythm patterns, scale exercises, and finger positioning in simple, easy steps. Integrity guides my teaching by ensuring students learn correct posture, hand coordination, timing accuracy, and proper technique from the beginning.

Creativity is encouraged through improvisation sessions, experimenting with different strumming styles, and composing simple melodies. Along with Guitar, I also teach music theory and ear training to strengthen overall musical understanding.
