About Ajay

I was accepted in a public university in Toronto when I was 18, and I pursued interdisciplinary law. Being an international student, I was required to take an IELTS test, and I scored 8.00/9.00. I have also won the best speaker award at inter-college debate competitions!

English has always been one of my strengths, and I take great pleasure in being able to share this strength with others who also aspire to study at an international institution, but feel that the language barrier may constitute a hurdle.

Along with that, I also enjoy mentoring youngsters in school who want to learn to have fluent conversations in English without pausing between words- just like a native speaker!

English is an indispensable tool in today's heavily interconnected world, and one's fluency in the language demonstrates exceptional competence on the global stage, especially if the speaker hails from a country whose native language is not English.
With that in mind, I want to do my part in helping others achieve greater linguistic heights and speak without hesitation, irrespective of their backgrounds!

About the lesson

My classes are focused on-
1. Grammar and structure to build your foundation,
2. Conversational fluency with real dialogue practice.

Imagine this- you're an Indian resident traveling in New York. An American approaches you, hoping to strike up a conversation. But you feel anxious because you find it difficult to understand what he's saying due to non-familiarity with the accent. Plus, you naturally struggle to match his fluency, and feel that there's a linguistic wall between you that makes it extremely difficult to communicate.
How great would it be if this wall didn't exist? How great would it be if you could understand everything he said with ease, as though he was speaking your own language? How great would it be if you could speak english just as fluently as him- if not more?

If you feel that this is too far-fetched an ambition, let me put your concerns to rest- it is entirely possible. I know this, because I myself have studied law in a Canadian public university as an Indian international student!

Cross-cultural communication is often difficult because of language barriers, but it doesn't have to be. We can overcome these barriers, which is what I did, and which is what I now want to help others do as well.
