Watching a student finally grasp the nuance of a phrasal verb makes the effort worth it. My desk is often cluttered with sheet music and grammar charts, a reflection of how I blend these worlds. With 13 years of experience under my belt, I support immigrants and business travelers through this linguistic hurdle.
My BFA from Concordia University and CELTA certification provide the structural backbone for my sessions. Teaching 500 plus newcomers has shown me that music acts as the perfect anchor for language acquisition. I truly enjoy seeing the lightbulb go on during these moments.
