About Saberia
Hi, I am Saberia Konwar from Dibrugarh, Assam. Academics and singing always went hand in hand in my life and is still going on. I started my musical journey when I was 4 years old and my first guru is my Mother. She taught me some Raaga, Bhajan etc. and finally I started my formal learning when I was in 7th standard. I graduated in the year 2015 and I have been practicing solo and with a desire to pursue "Nipun" somewhere in the future.

During learning a skill, the own concentration and the method of learning is very important.
Basics always comes first. Grasping the basic of singing enhances the power to grasp the tough parts later so I focus on the Swargams a lot. Different "Paltas" flexes the voice and smooths in having clear throw of lyrics. "Aalap" is a kind of breathing exercise and again flexing the voice.
There are more and more which helps enhancing the later stages of classical music elements.
So, that was an overview towards my way of teaching and I hope I can help you in this journey.
