About Adam

I’m an ACA-qualified accountant with a Big 4 audit background, currently working in Internal Audit within Financial Services, alongside delivering freelance online lecturing and tutoring across ACA, ACCA and FIA qualifications.

My career has combined both practical accounting experience and teaching, which means I’m able to bring technical topics to life using real-world examples, not just textbook explanations. I currently provide freelance teaching support with BPP and have also delivered for MPES, a Platinum Accredited ACCA provider.

I genuinely enjoy teaching and helping students build confidence in subjects that can often feel overwhelming at first. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone move from struggling with a topic to understanding it clearly and passing their exam with confidence.

Students typically describe my teaching style as clear, patient and structured, with a strong focus on simplifying complex ideas and making learning feel manageable.

Outside of tutoring, I’m passionate about helping students develop not just technical knowledge, but the confidence and exam technique needed for long-term success.

About the lesson

I specialise in Financial Reporting, Financial Accounting and Audit, helping students develop both strong technical understanding and the exam technique needed to pass confidently.

My teaching style is clear, structured and highly practical. I focus on breaking down complex accounting concepts into simple, manageable steps, tailoring each lesson to the student’s current level, confidence and learning style. Whether you need help understanding a difficult topic, improving exam technique, or preparing for an upcoming sitting, lessons are designed around your specific goals.
