About Karla
I am currently teaching at a local immersion school. I have my Masters degree in French and Francophone Studies and taught FREN 101 at the university level. I have experience in teaching groups as well as one-on-one tutoring (in both French and English). My students have all experience improvement or success.

My teaching method is a communicative approach. When in class, we avoid speaking English. I use visual tools, including PowerPoint, to help students understand vocabulary and grammar without having to explicitly define it. This helps the student by creating an immersive atmosphere.
