About Leon
I am a graduate from Nanyang Technological University with a BA (Hons) in Chinese Studies. I also have a PGDE from NIE, Singapore. Coming from a family environment that speaks predominantly in English, I understand the struggles of students from similar backgrounds when it comes to picking up a 2nd Language. Hence, my approaches are highly suitable for students who don't speak Mandarin Chinese at home and finds it a struggle to understand concepts and formulate exam strategies.

I take an individualised approach when it comes to tutoring as I believe in meeting students where they are at. I digitise my notes such that there is a record of what is covered and my notes are fully bilingual in English and Chinese. I have an 8-Step Composition Writing Model which helped multiple students increase their marks by at least 2 grades and I take an overview approach when it comes to exam strategies.
